The images are showing a closeup space photo from the sun. In general the piece also deals with helplessness of observing things as an artist. It is questioning the conceptual endeavour of making art and an admission of making failures. The workis part of the conceptual series I don’t have… It is asking the contradiction between the image as a thing, the image object and the narrative layers of the whole Installation.
Sonne II / I don’t have a theory about this piece ist Teil einer größeren Werkreihe. Sie thematisiert die grundsätzliche Diskrepanz zwischen dem Bild als Gegenstand, dem Bildobjekt und der narrativen Ebene der Bildinstallation.
