Il triangolo d'oro Skulptur von Joachim Blank

Il triangolo d’oro — in English “The golden triangle”—consists of three old wine barrel hoops of varying circumferences found in Tuscany, Italy. The appearance of the wine barrel hoops as an open globe finds balance and stability as a sculpture exclusively in this arrangement, with a triangle formed at the base. The outer appearance remains open and fragile.

In viticulture, success depends on the grapevine itself, the soil, the topography, and the climate. With human assistance, a good wine can only be produced through the interplay of these fragile factors.
